Ocean and Rocks Study

Another beach picture from Santa Barbara. My tripod kept sinking into the sand each time a wave came in, and that was not ideal for the long exposures I was making. So I had to hold the tripod up sideways against this big rock. These tripod acrobatics meant I could only do a vertical composition, which incidentally ended up looking pretty nice in the end.
