Monticello Backroad

We managed to get out of the house today to try and find some new places to explore. On the map, we found a good candidate location but it turned out to be a park that we'd already seen before a long time ago (at least this time we know how to get there again). I have a feeling we've seen every park in a 30-mile radius.

All was not lost, though. While driving around the lovely country north of Monticello, we came across this scene. I think this is my new favorite giant lonely tree alongside a road in the middle of nowhere location! I took a lot of pictures, but can't decide which composition I prefer. I think I'll post at least one more.
