Erosion

Here's one taken Tuesday at Middle Fork State Fish & Wildlife Area, just west of Danville, IL. The weather was really great, and we went out in anticipation of a great squall line of big summer thunderstorms that was forming. Well, the storms petered out, leaving us with boring blue skies, and the trails around Middle Fork were mediocre. Finally we found this nice area off in the woods with a really spooky atmosphere, but by that time we were running out of light and being eaten by mosquitos. It may be worth a return visit sometime.
