Paint Sample Study: Apple Cider

I was talking to my brother the other day about photography. After seeing one of his pictures with some pretty fabulous colors, I realized that the reason I shoot so much black & white is because I have trouble using color in composition. So I tried to challenge myself to use more color here and there. We have been hoarding a bunch of paint samples for an art project, so I tried to use them in an interesting composition. The color I ended up with is almost a neutral, but it was the only color whose name made sense in this composition.
