Geese on Silver Lake

This is my take on the classic "near-far" landscape composition. A recent ice storm left the trees still gleaming and dripping, and the high humidity allowed for quite a billowy plume of steam from the power plant. This was a very slippery expedition -- although it's hard to tell from the picture, everything on the ground was underneath a quarter inch of ice. [Picture taken: Jan 2]
