Digital Window

This is DCL (Digital Computer Lab), the old CS building on campus. Its architecture is reminiscent of a palate of bricks, but it's across the street from the University High School, an old, almost gothic building (it's probably not gothic, but I'm not an architect).

At first I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't get the turret's reflection higher in the window, but the more I look at it the more I like it this way. It adds some nice tension. Or maybe it's just rationalization after the fact... I have some other takes on this theme that I may post, but this is my favorite. And maybe someday I will go back with a step ladder and see if I like the composition any better up there ;)
