Photo competition 2009

The 2009 Champaign County Camera Club print competition is this week. I entered three of my favorites from last year. After scrounging for an occasional honorable mention here and there through the years, I finally solved the riddle of the CCCC judges and pulled off the sweep. The Iceland picture took 2nd in the nature category, the tree picture took 3rd in the same category, and Noah was an honorable mention in the people category.

This year I was really impressed by the overall quality of the entries on display, so I'm really happy that mine stacked up so well. Of course, now that I've sussed these local judges, I have to move away and find some other competitions.

If anyone from Champaign is reading this blog, they can check out the display all this week at Lincoln Square mall.
